Solaris WBEM Services

Solaris WBEM Services and the Sun WBEM Software Development Kit (SDK) are Sun's implementation of the emerging WBEM standards for the Solaris Operating Environment.

Solaris WBEM Services software and the associated developer toolkit enable IT developers and managers to create and modify system information stored in the standard CIM format. The software eases the administration of the Solaris Operating Environment, and provides management software interoperability.

The open source version of Solaris WBEM Services 2.5 can be found at wbemservices.sourceforge.net. This site contains the source code for the platform independent components of Solaris WBEM Services 2.5 such as the CIM Object Manager, the Repository, client and provider APIs, tools, and the Software Development Kit (SDK) complete with documentation and example programs.
